For over 25 years, children, teens, and adults have been learning to read and spell easier and faster with True North Reading.

Now, with this simple, easy-to-access online program, your child can learn to read with excellence and a love of learning, too.

With one-to-one in-person tutoring style videos, hands-on multi-sensory games and activities, and mark-it, do-it worksheets—the phonological approach here is grounded in high-performance research that’s proven to help children learn to read fast, smoother, and with higher comprehension.

Studies are clear: Parents who helps students with literacy skills at home during preschool and early elementary school education help their children become more successful in learning later on. And when you work together with your student of any age with tools to get rid of struggles and raise your child’s reading skills—you give your student the chance of highest success, both now and throughout life.

Join families all across the US and world here with True North Reading, and help your child learn to read at home.

The Story of True North Reading

Erin M. Brown, MA, MFA, the creator of True North Reading, is a 45-year educator and teacher; former university professor of research, writing, and leadership; book author; curriculum developer; child development expert—and a parent of eleven children (eight who joined the family through adoption).

Erin began developing what is now known as True North Reading in the mid-1980s.

To our knowledge, no other reading program in the world today has integrated child development and multiple discipline best practices into a “complete,” how-children-learn-best program like True North Reading: The Complete Mastery Reading & Spelling Program does.

From the start, True North Reading was created with wisdom from learning pioneers. And today, using online technologies, students can access integrated, hands-on learning with True North Reading from anywhere with an Internet connection.
