For over 25 years, children, teens, and adults have been learning to read and spell easier and faster with True North Reading.
Now, with this simple, easy-to-access online program, your child can learn to read with excellence and a love of learning, too.
With one-to-one in-person tutoring style videos, hands-on multi-sensory games and activities, and mark-it, do-it worksheets—the phonological approach here is grounded in high-performance research that’s proven to help children learn to read fast, smoother, and with higher comprehension.
Studies are clear: Parents who helps students with literacy skills at home during preschool and early elementary school education help their children become more successful in learning later on. And when you work together with your student of any age with tools to get rid of struggles and raise your child’s reading skills—you give your student the chance of highest success, both now and throughout life.
Join families all across the US and world here with True North Reading, and help your child learn to read at home.

Learning Pioneers Brought Together…
To our knowledge, no other reading program in the world today has integrated child development and multiple discipline best practices into a “complete,” how-children-learn-best program like True North Reading: The Complete Mastery Reading & Spelling Program does.
From the start, True North Reading was created with wisdom from learning pioneers. And today, using online technologies, students can access integrated, hands-on learning with True North Reading from anywhere with an Internet connection.
The Timeline
Research Begins
Erin begins to gather research on the current state of reading.
Erin begins speaking at Early Childhood Conferences on teaching and learning, helping parents teach their children from birth.
First iterations of the Basic Code, Sound Signs, Sound Pictures, and the first Lead Card Game are developed. A public school counselor asks Erin to teach her four-year-old child to read with the new method. In nine months, the child reads at a second grade level.
Multi-Sensory Elements Developed
